Why Niamey?

Suddenly, in the middle of a global pandemic, I'm going to be living in Niamey, Niger, for some months.  My partner's work has brought us here.  I'm excited to be living in this West African country, at the interface between the Sahara and Central Africa.  And being who I am,  much of the exploration of my temporary new home will be food-centric. 

At this time, when travel is so difficult, I hope you'll enjoy the journey - and the food - with us.
